The Mastercard Foundation scholars Program at KNUST gives talented but economically disadvantaged young academics in Ghana and Africa access to a quality university education. The Program offers an opportunity for its academics to receive comprehensive training that enables them to be leaders in change.

Deadline for the application

Interested candidates should try as much as possible to apply be the application end date which is on the 3rd July 2020 (Extended from 1st May, 2020) at 17:00GMT

Undergraduate “Study a degree course”

Requirements for the application

  1. All applicants with WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE O’Level and A’Level or their equivalent results from an accredited / recognized institution and Certificate Ready and meet the KNUST admission requirements. WAITING RESULTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The applicant’s result must be at least one year old.
  2. The applicant must demonstrate that he has critical financial needs.
  3. The applicant must have proven records of leadership and community involvement.
  4. Special attention will be given to;
    • women
    • Displaced persons (certified refugees, internally displaced persons, etc.)
    • People with disabilities
