Are you a Nigerian female undergraduate looking forward to study abroad? this dream has is now made possible by Scholarships for young Women in Nigeria NWAG. bellow will guide you on how to enroll.

The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) is offering scholarship opportunities to Nigerian women who are willing to pursue a degree program in Nigeria. NWAG plans to award 37 unique scholarships, one per state of origin and one for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in the amount of one hundred thousand Naira (N100,000) each, to women interested in Nigerian universities.

Requirement for the application

Every applicant must be a Nigerian female, undergraduate student in a Nigerian University.​​​​​​​

  • Applicants must submit the following documents along with their completed application form by May 30, 2020:
  • Proof of State of Origin: Letter of Origin from the university or a letter from the local government office.
  • Two letters of recommendation from two of the following: pastor of the church / imam of the mosque, head of the village, president of the local government or one of his lecturers.
  • 1 Letter of recommendation from the Dean of your Faculty / School or from your Head of Department.
  • Photocopy of your current college student ID card
  • A current photograph of yourself
  • An explanation of why you need and should receive the scholarship (no more than half of the typed page).
  • A two-page, double-spaced, typed essay on:

“Human Trafficking is on the rise. Explain the rapid spread and its effect on the human race”.  How can it be stopped?
