Imo State University Owerri pays courtesy visit to the commissioner for Education

Imo State University, Owerri  Management paid a courtesy visit to the commissioner for education, Prof B. T. O Ikegwuoha on 30th April, 2020. See pictures below.

The administrator of the Imo Owerri State University, professor Victoria Adaobi Obasi, in her speech congratulated Professor B. T. O Ikegwuoha, who was previously the main policy of the Department (HOD) within the University, for her appointment as Commissioner of Education.

Professor Victoria Adaobi Obasi described her appointment as a round peg during a round hole and thanked the Governor, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma, for taking the great step in the right direction.

In addition, the administrator congratulated the Governor for disappointing Lake Nwaebere and stated that the University almost lost the world thanks to the floods.

He also reiterated that the University has produced facial masks and disinfectants, which may soon serve the governor, to share folded people.

The CV concluded by wishing the Commissioner the best, the protection of God and, in particular, an interesting tenure.

Professor B. T. O Ikegwuoha in his response thanked the university community for attending and stated that the difficulty of salary is being addressed. He assured them that, ultimately, wages will be an inevitable conclusion and can be paid on the 26th of each month.

The Commissioner concluded by praying that God protect and direct all of our movements.
