The federal government of Nigeria through the federal education ministry has denied the news that “schools will resume on May 4, 2020” Do not believe anyone or a blog that tells you that schools in Nigeria will resume on November 20, 2020.

The Government has previously examined on Monday May 4, 2020 whether for Polytechnic and universities students to resume in Nigeria or not, but the Government will announce the new date if the Coronavirus in Nigeria has been drastically reduced.

Monday, May 4, 2020 may not be feasible as the government is still considering whether to extend the lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun state. Therefore, all students are advised to wait for the new resumption date to be announced by the Federal Government when everything about COVID-19 is resolved.
