2020 Post-UTME Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details – Crescent University

Post UTME for 2020/2021 the academic session of Crescent University has been announced. Applications are requested from duly qualified candidates for admission to the Crescent University, Abeokuta (CUAB) undergraduate programs for the 2020/2021 academic session. The cutoff is 160. Overall requirements for admission

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME)

  1. Those who chose CUAB (first or second option in JAMB) must apply
  2. Interested applicants who did not make Crescent University Abeokuta their choice at JAMB but obtained minimum acceptable scores of 160 or higher may also apply, but must change Crescent as a first choice at any TCC facility.
  3. All candidates must have five (5) O level credits in relevant subjects in no more than two sessions.
  4. Credits in SSCE, GCE, NECO or approved equivalents in at least 5 subjects that must include English and mathematics and any other three subjects as specified by each department.
  5. The 5 credits must be obtained in no more than two sessions and must have been obtained in the last 5 years.
  6. Candidates expecting O’Level results can also apply.
  7. All applicants will be required to pass the Crescent University assessment exercise without which admission to a candidate will not be offered at the University.
  8. Interested candidates who have applied for admission to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and wish to change their first option to Crescent University should Apply to change institutions through JAMB.
  9. Obtain the ABEOKUTA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD CRESCENTE application form.
  10. Participate in the evaluation exercise.
  11. All applicants are required to obtain the JAMB forms as well as the Crescent University application form (VISIT THE WEBSITE PAGE) before they can qualify for the screening exercise. Admission through JAMB will be offered to candidates who have chosen Crescent University as their choice and have acceptable acceptance. score on the unified tertiary enrollment test (UTME).

Direct Entry Candidates

  1. NCE, OND and their approved equivalents in the relevant field and at least the higher credit level in addition to the O / L requirements established above.
  2. Two advanced level passes or their equivalents in relevant subjects in addition to the O / L requirements established above.
  3. The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) at acceptable grade levels;
  4. In exceptional cases, ND holders with lower credit from recognized institutions may be admitted to level 200 (part II) in relevant degree programs, provided they meet the minimum requirements stipulated to enter level 100.
  5. HNDs with lower credit from recognized institutions may be admitted at level 200 in the relevant degree programs, provided they meet the minimum requirements stipulated to enter level 100.
  6. Approved interview conducted by the University.

Transfer candidates

Candidates may transfer from other universities to Crescent University, provided that:

  1. Purchase, complete the prescribed application form (VISIT THE PAGE OF THE ELECTRONIC PORTAL)
  2. Have the minimum entrance requirements for admission to the University. CLICK HERE to see entry requirements
  3. Make sure that the transcript of your academic records and the special confidential report on them (are forwarded by the appropriate officials of your current institution) are received in the Admissions office of Crescent University no later than two months before the beginning of the scheduled session for which you are admitted is being sought
  4. Have C.G.P.A. not less than 1.5

How to apply for Crescent University Post UTME

  1. Visit http://www.crescent.edu.ng, click on the “PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATE” menu.
  2. Enter your information in the spaces provided and click “Continue”
  3. Then log in with your email or request number.
  4. Then go ahead and make your payment with your ATM card.

NOTE: After payment you can print the form or complete it online.

  • After completing the registration stages, it is important to print your registration form and payment receipt.
  • If you have successfully paid and want to continue your registration stages later, you can do so.
  • Printed enrollment forms must be submitted on or before the day of the evaluation with:
  1. 12 passport photos,
  2. photocopy of the birth certificate,
  3. letter of identification from your local government,
  4. 2 reference letters and credentials.
